Syed Wajih Rizvi, M.D., President and CEO

Syed Wajih Rizvi, M.D. Clinical Asst. Professor in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology at UMDNJ, is the Chief at R Endocrinology and CEO of

R Research in New Jersey.

Dr. Rizvi received his Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery from Dow Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan and his Residency from Mercy Catholic Medical Center in Philadelphia. He completed fellowships in Endocrinology, Diabetes, Metabolism, and Lipid Disorders at the Medical College of Pennsylvania, the Hahnemann University and the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1994.

Dr. Rizvi then took over as Chief of Endocrinology at Dakota Clinic/Innovis Health Systems in Fargo, ND and was an Associate Professor at the University of North Dakota.

Dr. Rizvi provides a full spectrum of services in Endocrinology including diabetes, thyroid, pituitary, and reproductive problems, obesity/weight management, cholesterol, and hypertension. He also specializes in female and male hormonal problems, sexual and libido issues, as well as menstrual and hirsuitism problems in women.

In 1996, Dr. Rizvi was the first physician in the state of North Dakota to start Insulin Pump therapy to treat complicated diabetes. He has conducted years of clinical research in multiple areas of Endocrinology. His most recent article was on diabetes mellitus in the Journal of Clinical Pharmacy & Therapeutics. He has presented and lectured at hundreds of national and international forums on diabetes, insulin therapies, and a whole host of other Endocrine topics.

Dr. Rizvi is a member of various professional organizations, including the American Medical Association, the American College of Physicians, the American Diabetes Association, the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists, International Diabetes Federation, American Association of Clinical Research Professionals, and DIA.

Dr Rizvi has lectured in over a 100 Conferences Nationally and Internationally on burning Endocrinology topics.He has conducted numerous CME Conferences and Seminars for Physicians,Nurses ,Pharmacists and the lay public as well.

He is also one of the founding members of the Imamia Medics International and has served at the Board of Regents and Board of Directors of IMI for over 18 yrs.Currently he is the Main Representative of IMI at the UN and Project Director of the Get Well Clinic System.

Dr. Rizvi, over a period of decade  established a worldwide network of Medical Professionals and finally launched R  Research, a hybrid model of SMOs /CROs to provide quality and precision in the ever demanding and challenging arena of Clinical research.

Dr Rizvi thus is one of those few physicians who combine quality patient care with innovative Clinical research thus providing newer and emerging therapies to his patient base  which are not otherwise available to millions.

His network of Professional spread across all continents of the globe with   whom he often join hands to do research in any given therapeutic area.

He serves at the Editorial of International Journal of Lipid Disorders,honorary faculty of Overseas Universities and at numerous boards and committees of a variety of professional bodies and  socities.

While research is his hobby ,teaching his art, patient care is his passion and he does entertain  these seemingly different yet interconnected channels with great acumen and with a sense of pride and service.
