I am a mother of a 2yr old little girl and 3 yr old little boy.
I reside in Fallsington, Pa with my two children. I graduated in 5/2000 from Holy Family College - Magna cum laude with my B.S.N.
At that time I began training to be a clinical research coordinator for a cardiology practice in Langhorne. This site fell trough for clinical trials. In May of 2000, I became a surgical nurse at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Cardiothoracic, Transplant and Trauma surgery. While employed at TJUH, I worked with the research anesthesia team in conducting trials on new meds used during surgical procedures and monitored patients over night while in the hospital.
I wrote a training manual used for training purposes for new RNs joining the cardiothoracic surgical team and served as a preceptor to new team members.
I graduated from Thomas Jefferson University with my M.S.N. in May 2006 and will sit for FNP boards in Oct 2006.
In 2003, I began working at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in the Operating room as a staff nurse and in Jan. 2004, changed to staff nurse on an Oncology unit to gain clinical medical surgical experience as well as a schedule that would allow completion of my M.S.N. program.
In May 2006, I am delighted to join the team of R-Research as Clinical research Manager and R-Endocrinology initially as a diabetes Nurse and soon Diabetes Nurse Practitioner.
.
I have many interests and hobbies including running, fishing, boating, and reading. I look forward to continuing my education in a doctorate program. For now, I will take a break from schooling and enjoy watching my children grow and learn before they enter school.
